They were originally published for the U.S. Navy Bureau of Aeronautics by the International Textbook Co., Scranton, Pennsylvania Aircraft Tooling: Templets, 1943. 5 1/4 x 8 1/4 , 49 pages. Explains various types of templets (mold-line, flat-pattern, material preparation, die, contour, check, apply trim-and-drill, router, jog, drill-block, punch jig, standard cutout, experimental, tooling); various means of marking templets; designing and placing lightening holes to reduce weight of a part; corner and bend reliefs for bent flanges; joggling technique for extruded angles; shrink allowance; bend deduction and bend allowance; and setback charts.
