To choose the correct chain for your needs, there are three measurements to consider: pitch, gauge, and drive links. Contact us at our office or visit our Ebay store for all your equipment needs. Gauge refers to the width of the bar track and is typically .050, but can vary depending on the size of the saw. The Yale XTC tree climbing rope is made of 12 strand polyester and is rated for 6000 lbs, with a diameter of 1/2" and a length of 150 ft. Sharpening file sizes for different chain pitches include: 5/32" for 3/8 Low Profile, 3/16" for 0.325 Semi-Chisel, 11/64" for 0.325 Full-Chisel, and 7/32" for 3/8 Full Profile. Pitch is the distance between three rivets divided by two and is measured using decimal imperial measurement. The number of links is determined by the length of the cutting edge of the bar.
