The YSI Tele-Thermometer #P is a battery-powered thermometer that operates without the need for a D cell battery (sold separately). The front of the device features a meter that displays temperatures from -17 to +48В°C and 0 to 120В°F. Other features include an adjustment screw and a pair of one-pin connectors with "recorder" labels. The thermometer also has a headphone-style connector for a probe. Please be aware that purchaser is responsible for all customs, duties, and brokerage fees. Additionally, please note that the sale of this item may be subject to regulation by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and state and local regulatory agencies. This auction includes only one Yellow Springs Instruments Tele-Thermometer, and no other testing has been done on this item. Please note that this device is sold as-is. Payment for this item can be made via confirmed PayPal mailing address only, or by cash if you arrange for local pickup and an appointment. Payment is expected within four days after the close of the auction, and Canadian residents must add GST 5% on the final cost. To test the device, we inserted a battery and connected a borrowed probe. However, the needle on the meter did not move, even when we shook the unit. It appears that the meter is mechanically stuck, and this thermometer is only suitable as a source of spare parts.
