Fisher Scientific Hevi Duty Type 70 Electrical Tube Furnace PLEASE READ THE FULL DESCRIPTION     By bidding on this item you accept the terms stated below. Items included in auction: Fisher Scientific Hevi Duty Type 70 Electrical Tube Furnace 115v 750w max temp 1950°f, nominal temp 1850°f Inner Tube Diameter = 1.25" or 31.75-32mm After testing we found the unit to be in good working order. Upon using an infrared thermometer, we discovered that the unit heated beyond the maximum detection range of the thermometer (58°f-716°f). The unit uses an external thermocouple which we do not have, so we cannot fully test the entire functionality of the unit however we see no outward reason why it shouldn't work as described. There are notable signs of wear and age on unit, as the cord is frayed in many spots, as well as paint peeling from tube and slight surface rust. The bottom left end plate has a crack running from one of the thermocouple connector terminals to the outside of plate. Unit opens and closes properly, and doesn't seem to be missing any important screws or other hardware. We can only guarantee the item to function as described, therefore item will be sold as-is.
