I have for bid a magnetic speed sensor.    I had this on the front axel of my 1466IH when i was using a jd 7300 planter with a dj3000 monitor.  I would have also worked with my john deere 250 and any other john deere monitor that needed speed.  It has the same round connector as a john deere radar unit.   I have since gone to GPS and have no need for this.    It was highly dependable and very accurate when you set it up correctly.   If i remember correctly there is a spot in the manual of either the JD planter or The dj3000 monitor manual that shows this unit and how to calibrate it.       i have a clamp/mounting bracket that should fit most tractor axels and then there are enough magnets to fit a 15inch rim possibly enough for a 16inch i cant remember if i had extras or not.      The magnets get glued into the inside of the rim of the front tire and the sensor gets mounted nearby to pick up the signal as the magnets pass by.    The magnets by themselves are very expensive to replace at Deere but what isnt expensive there i guess.
