Overview This auction is for one MK4c 4-axis stepper motor controller and four (4) MM160 bipolar 3.5A/phase microstepping Stepper Motor Drivers. The MM160 uses the TB6560 bipolar driver. Motor power is routed to each MM160 allowing different motor drive voltage to suit the needs of different stepper motors. The MM160 is a single axis 3.5A/phase bipolar microstepping Stepper driver based on the TB6560 driver. The MM160 supports full, half, one eigth and one sixteenth micro stepping. The MM160 is capable of 24-35V operation. Logic power of 5VDC must be supplied to the board. DIP switches set driver current, decay mode and torque setting. The MM160 is designed for high performance bipolar stepping applications. The outputs of the TB6560 are protected by Transient Suppression Diodes as is the Stepper Input power. The MM160 is ideal for small mill and lathe CNC applications. The MK4c is a 4-axis stepper motor breakout controller with a DB25 PC parallel port compatible port. The MK4c routes parallel port signals to the 4 stepper motor driver ports. The MK4c has 5 limit switch inputs and four auxiliary open collector outputs or four digital outputs. The MK4c requires an external 16-24VDC power adapter or can be powered by the stepper motor supply. The MK4c supplies power to the MM160 drivers. The MK4c is designed to accept a variety of driver boards such as the MM120, MM130, MM133, MM160 or MM220. The MK4c can be powered directly by the stepper motor power supply. The heat sinks in the pictures are not included but can be purchased seperately in other auctions. There are two different style of heat sinks - individual black anodixed heat sinks and a single solid heat that attaches to all four MM160's. The solid single piece heat also holds all four MM160's firmly in place. The heat sinks drop the temperature of the TB6560 by about 35-40C and are recommended. This heat sinks are custom CNC'd hence their price. The MK4 is available as the MK4c or MK4cp. The MK4c has four open collector output drivers while the MK4cp has two open collector outputs and 2 high power 3A Power Mosfets outputs. The Power Mosfets can be used to directly control external 24-30V spindles and pumps. The MK4c is compatible with Mach3 and EMC. The MK4c and MM160's are all you need to start CNCing. An optional heat sink kit is available.
