This is a rather hard to find original brass oiler for a hit and miss gas or marine engine.  It was made by American Injector Company in Detroit, Michigan as stamped on the top.  It is a gas engine cylinder oiler as it has the vent tube in it.  It is in good used condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind.  Both glasses seem to be in good shape and everything seems to work as it should.  It stands about 5 7/8 inches tall overall and is about 1 7/8 inches in diameter at it's largest.  It would look great on most any 1 1/2 or 2hp engine.  It will need a good cleaning and probably new gaskets but that's the fun part.  It has 1/4 inch pipe threads on it and they are in great shape.  It also has the check ball and insert in the base which are very often missing!  These oilers are quite tough to find in the wild or even at swap meets.  This would be a perfect oiler with just a little elbow grease!  It would also make a great spare on the shelf.  The pictures tell the story.  You'll like it.  I can be reached at 262-573-1931 if you'd like to talk about it.  Good Luck.
