This is an original cast iron pulley for a Fairbanks Morse hit and miss or throttle governed gas engine.  At least I'm pretty sure it is for a Fairbanks Morse...if it isn't please educate me.  It is in as found condition from the estate of an early engine collector.  It has a 4 3/4 inch face and is 6 inches in diameter.   It mounts to every other spoke of the flywheel with three holes 3 7/8 inches apart on center.  I believe this is for a Jack Jr, 1hp Type H, and may fit a 1 1/2hp and 2hp Z engine.  Please measure your engine to be sure it fits your application.  It will fit on any engine with an adapter plate. It has a hairline crack that could easily be repaired but it probably was used many hours like this and gave no trouble.  It has two extra holes in the mounting area but these really don't affect anything and could be filled if you so choose.  These original cast iron pulleys are next to impossible to find in the wild or even at swap meets and they really set an engine off!   They also make it possible to run belt driven implements with your engine.   If you've been looking for one to complete a restoration here's your chance.   This one could be put to work on an engine or put into your inventory for a spare. The pictures tell the story.   I can be reached at 262-573-1931 if you'd like to talk about it.   The pictures tell the story. Good Luck.
