GEOelectronics built. THIS VERSION HAS THE OPTIONAL X2 Range switch giving a total of 9 CPM rates: 60K CPM-30K CPM-15K CPM 6KCPM-3K CPM-1.5K CPM 600 CPM-300 CPM-150 CPM Otherwise known as a Pulser or CPM(Counts Per Minute) Calibrator. AC type wall power supply, 9V battery clip, GC rated 36" BNC-BNC cable included in package. This type of instrument is a temporary substitute for the probe on a Geiger Counter, giving the correct polarity and waveshape in a known CPM to calibrate the Geiger Counter by way of it's calibration potentiometers. Some Geiger Counters like the CDV-700 have only one calibration potentiometer, we offer an economical version of this same circuit for those. See Ludlum Measurements Support page for manual on the Ludlum Model 500 to learn how to use a pulser. This version is crystal controlled, has 6 ranges covering from 150 CPM to 60,000 CPM and has adjustable output level via a 10 turn pot with dial counter. The output ranges is nominally 0-5V. Watch for another version that will include a X 2 range switch for those applications where extremely high count rates need to be calibrated. All instruments feature 9V operation or use your 9V wall-wart (5.5X2.1 center pin +), die-cast aluminum housings, Bourns potentiometers, G10 Glass-Epoxy Circuit boards, silver plated and Teflon insulated wiring, Teflon insulator Amphenol BNC connector, crystal controlled accuracy and 1 year warranty. See our other ads for more instrumentation pertaining to Radiation Detector Calibration. Designed by Bill Beamon (KD4FNC) and built/tested by GEOelectronics (K0FF) Introductory priced.
