The Rotomax 1.5 is Suhner’s most advanced flexible shaft machine and has a service life measured in decades even under constant daily use.  A reliable, electronically controlled induction motor runs more quietly and more efficiently than conventional pneumatic or electric tools.  And by separating the drive unit from the tool, the tool can be made smaller, lighter and more powerful; thereby increasing productivity and reducing operator fatigue even in continuous use.  The reduced size of flex shaft tools also allows access into smaller and more confined areas than conventional tools.  Over time, flex shaft machines are the most cost effective means to do grinding and polishing in your shop.  This set includes the Rotomax 1.5 motor on a wheeled mobile base, an NA12X2000 (2 meters in length) flexible shaft and an FH 12 toolholder.  Please note that the machine is pictured without the wheeled mobile base.  The Rotomax 1.5 can run small any accessory from small 1/4 ” carbide burrs up to 6” buffing or grinding wheels.  A variable frequency drive eliminates the need for a gearbox and provides variable speeds between 500 and 15,000 RPM.  The Rotomax 1.5 is well suited for grinding, cutting and polishing in foundries, boilermaking, steel fabrication and stainless steel processing. Price includes one Rotomax 1.5 flex shaft motor on a wheeled mobile base, one NA 12 X 2000 flexible shaft and one FH 12 straight toolholder 2.0 hp. induction motor for 460 volt, 60 hz., 3 phase electricity Electronically controlled variable speed from 500 RPM to 15,000 RPM in 100 RPM increments Other attachments including belt sanders, tube polishers, right angle grinders, right angle die grinders and band files available Motor made in Germany, flex shaft made in Switzerland
