This is a great small diesel engine with nominal 9.1 HP (6.4 kW) with lots of torque and smooth operation. It has exhaust treatment using a small catalytic device at the exit of the engine exhaust port and it also uses a unique solenoid valve located before the fuel injector so that the engine can be electrically stopped using the ignition key. This feature provides flexibility if one desires to control the engines for emergency stops etc. It has less than 100 hours of operation and it was used to drive a small blower connected to a pulley. It starts smoothly and does not produce any visual smoke during operation. Yanmar manufacture this engine with reliable parts, which differentiate from other similar and cheaper engines available in the market. The engine receipt establishes that this engine has 2 years or 2,000 hours of warranty, whichever comes first. The only reason I am selling is because the associate project that this engine was required has been terminated. It comes with a 1"diameter standard keyed shaft.
