You are bidding on a fairly rare, early 2 1/2hp hit & miss Kewanee engine made in Kewanee, IL. These engines were used to pump water from shallow wells, to storage tanks for home, farm or business. This engine was found in a Michigan barn in 1967 or 68 by another collector (who I got it from), and he NEVER ran it once, so theres a good chance this engine hadn't run since the 1950's.
