This is a very special grinder. It belonged to Roderick "Caribou" Chappel, arguably one of the best American Knifemakers from the Golden Age of American Knifemaking. I purchased this grinder/ sander from his apprentice Dan Lombardo last year and due to some unexpected circumstances had to move over the summer.
You are buying a used Cincinnati Milacron Diamond Grinding Wheel CMD120-R100-B-1/8 6x1/8x1-1/14 This wheel was set-up on a grinder (By me) for the sole purpose of sharpening a 1/2 inch carbide end mill. The job was running 24/7. It's original depth of diamond was 1/8 inch and shows only about .020 of an inch of wear.
This is an Enco Manufacturing diamond grinding wheel Model #391-5122. I've had it for a long time but never used it. List price new on Enco's site is $217.
Here is a rare piece. Not to many of them floating around. "Doall All Purpose Cut-Off, Ripping & Mitering Attachment" This is a piece I purchased several years ago and it's only seen light use.
