Hi, this auction is for 6 + 6 FREE, Purebred Black Australorp fertile hatching eggs. No mixed breeds, 100% Black Australorp. With a large rooster to hen ratio of about 1 rooster to 5 hens, 90% of these eggs are undoubtedly fertile. All birds are fed quality grains daily. These breeding hens are kept in a large quarantine pen with a rooster, to ensure a 100% bloodline.  I do not wash the eggs, as some prefer unwashed eggs for incubation. That being said eggs are nice and clean, as nesting box bedding is changed daily.   PLEASE READ OUR POLICY BEFORE BIDDING. BY BIDDING YOU ACKNOWLEDGE YOU UNDERSTAND AND AGREE TO THE POLICY. Our hatching eggs are sent by INSURED Priority mail and should arrive within 4-5 days. All eggs sent were laid the day of shipping or the day before.  They should be set in the incubator within 7 days of our shipping them. It is recommended that you let the eggs sit for around 12 hours after you receive them, BEFORE you place them in the incubator, this gives them the needed time to settle. They should be placed large end pointed upward in an egg carton. The ideal holding temperature before setting is 60 degrees. It is recommended that you ready your incubator 2 days before the eggs arrive, to ensure it is at the prefect temp and humidity when the time comes to place the eggs inside.  OUR POLICY AND GUARANTEE Typically, 90% of the eggs you buy are fertile. BUT, we DO NOT  guarantee that all of the fertile eggs will hatch. That is entirely dependent on the incubator and we have no control over the quality or care of the incubator.  We DO guarantee the eggs to be fresh. However, we DO NOT guarantee hatchability due to conditions beyond our control during shipment, and hatching equipment or other methods used. Feedback is to be based on shipping time and quality of eggs received, NOT your hatch rate. If you have any questions please ask! What you see is what you will get and all you will get!
