This listing is for 6+ Barnevelder Hatching Eggs- Pure Mid-Size Barnevelders. Extra eggs will be included if they are available. These are not LF nor bantam, but are vigorous, hardy, mid-sized birds. Birds are a year old and bred for hardiness, vigor, and temperament. Some of our beautiful hens lay a darker copper egg. The Barnevelder lay 3-4 small to medium eggs a week. Our chickens are all very friendly, calm birds. Our roosters have never shown aggression towards people, but have fearlessly warned the hens about hawks and other predators. It's intriguing to watch the roosters care for the hens; they are such gentlemen! YOUR HATCH RATE IS NOT GUARANTEED. Fertility is tested regularly to ensure I am shipping viable, fertile eggs. However, once the eggs leave the farm, THEY ARE OUT OF OUR CONTROL. Through USPS, they are subject to rough handling, X-ray machines, and climate changes. This is a risk you take by purchasing hatching eggs. Your hatch rate will range from 0% to 100%. Only the freshest eggs will be shipped. Eggs are collected daily. Your eggs will be no more than 3 days old once they leave our farm, depending on the hens' laying pattern. The estimated delivery dates are not reliable. I can only ship when the eggs are made available by our staff- the hens! You are assured the freshest eggs. Eggs are only shipped Monday through Friday. Shipping materials are recycled from shipments we receive. We do not purchase new materials in effort to reduce waste.
