All of the chickens listed in this offer are of breeding age and have produced Beautiful offspring. The eggs pictured in this offer come from some of the hens in our French Standard Marans breeding pen. Two white eggs are shown in the second picture for contrast purposes only. We have a great assortment of Marans with Awesome bloodlines. Please refer to our buying history to see where and who they came from. As most people already know, the color of the Marans egg lightens as they get nearer to the end of their laying cycles. So you will be receiving a variety of different colored eggs. We promise not to include any small eggs. Each one of your eggs will weigh 1.75 ounces or more. Please, again be aware you are not going to get every egg to hatch. Sometimes depending on several different combinations an entire order will not hatch. So if you want at least 8 baby chicks you will need to purchase more than 8 eggs. Remember some will also end up being loud noise making roosters. To us here at the hatchery there is no sweeter sound than all our roosters calling and crowing, but if you have neighbors that have not yet reached the mind set or found the joys of chickens it can present a challenge. We accept PayPal only!! No e-checks due to hatching eggs being time sensitive. Your purchase will be dropped off at the post office within 48 hours of your PayPal payment. We have ordered and still continue to order eggs from other eBay sellers. Most of the time we get about 1/4 of the eggs to hatch from those purchases. Sometimes more sometimes none at all. We are purchasing from sellers that get rave reviews in their feedback. That is how it works with hatching eggs through the mail. We currently have right at 300 chickens that are of breeding age. Out of the 300 at least 100 are roosters that is part of how we achieve the 98% hatch rate. We also have been incubating for quite a while. We have learned that even though the humidity on an incubator will read a certain number the incubators need water every other day. We have also learned that we let all eggs rest for 24 hours before setting. Then we place them in the incubator and let them go for 3 days before we start turning. We don't stop turning until the 18th day is over leaving the 19th, 20th, and 21st day for hatching. We also watch our incubators like a hawk. They are in our used to be living room now converted over to packing and hatching room. All of these choices help to render a 98% hatch rate with our own eggs but still a very much lower hatch rate with eggs purchased from other eBay sellers. We buy a bunch of eggs from a bunch of different eBay sellers. We have never left negative feedback for any seller we have purchased from. Not even the ones where we got zero hatches. We accepted that risk before we choose to make the purchase. Please feel free to go ahead and leave your feedback whether it be positive or negative. We believe part of this life is about choices. We already know we have done more than our part to successfully provide a superior product. If we did anything else we would actually be creating a false expectation which we are totally not interested in doing. In our opinion there are way too many of those already among us.
