This listing is for 9 (plus a few extra if available) Cayuga and Cayuga/Khaki Campbell mix duck hatching eggs. Please pay promptly for quicker shipment. The eggs included in shipment/listing will be either Cayuga or Cayuga mix; I cannot guarantee exact quantities of either. They will be freshly laid within the week they are shipped. The pictures in the add represent the male and two female ducks and examples of the eggs they lay. Egg quantities shipped may vary from the photos in the listing. There are a few brown chicken eggs, adult ducks, small children, chicken, duckling, and other various objects in some of the photos and they are not included in this listing. Approximately 9 fertile duck eggs are all this listing is offering for sale. Note: I tested the fertility of some of the eggs the ducks laid around mid-March and in May in my incubator and it was high; nearly 100% of the eggs had signs of development. Of the 16 eggs in the incubator all 16 showed vein formation as of day 8 (refer to photos above). One of the hatched ducklings is photographed for reference of possible traits of duckings. However, ordering hatching eggs in the mail is risky and may result in low hatching rates or none at all. I am not liable for a zero success rate if you attempt to hatch/incubate these eggs due to factors like: poor handle during shipment and incubation techniques (and methods) used by the purchaser of the eggs. I have had success hatching these eggs but shipped eggs are always a gamble as to whether you can get any eggs to hatch. Plus, due some research on incubation methods for duck eggs, purchasing shipped hatching eggs, and raising ducks to decide if this is what you really want. Duck eggs require approximately 28 days of incubation time at similar temperatures but higher humidity than chicken eggs. The success rates can vary widely from: incubation methods used, methods for procuring the eggs, and various other factors. Shipping Method: The eggs will be shipped in a flat rate box. They will be in an foam (or cardboard) egg carton wrapped in napkins surrounded by pine wood shavings or paper for impact absorption. The eggs will not be washed and may have some dirt or other organic type markings on them. Please provide feedback on shipping methods and eggs.
