I love this mixer so much that i became an authorized dealer through the company so I could share this amazing machine with others. Everyone in my family uses this mixer and we are 3 generations of professional bakers. I have had 5 different Kitchenaid models, 2 viking commercials, a cuisinart commercial, a hamilton beach commercial and a hobart commercial mixer over the last 5 years and none has held up to bread dough for very long. This is the mixer you buy when you are tired of buying other brands that fall apart or burn out plastic gears or plastic gear housings. Yes its expensive but its well worth it. This is an investment. It is built like a tank from steel. It is easy to clean, very powerful and easy to use. Before you consider another brand read the reviews on other sites about people burning out their kitchenaid mixers after 6 months. Used Ankarsrum models sell for over $500 after they are 10-15 years old. These are handmade in Sweden and people have been using these for 73 years. There are forums full of people who are still using their grandmothers model. They are made to last and very heavy duty. I can make super thick wheat bread with 24 cups of flour and this thing doesnt even slow down. I can whip 20 eggs at once if i need to in the plastic bowl. My kitchenaids all broke with 4-6 cups of flour. These mixer comes with everything you would need and has more optional accessories then any other on the market.
