This kit would be great for those beginners of both electronic and soldering while building something useful and having fun. When fully assembled and powered with a 3-12 volt power supply, this one transistor amplifier is capable of increasing the output voltage from 1-100 times for frequency of up to 1Mhz. The amplification (or gain) is adjustable by the potentiometer. This kit will be great for beginner learning how transistors work in real classic amplifier circuit. We use it in our FM radio and mic amplifier circuit. The simplicity and the easy accessible potentiometer is very handy in any circuit that require signal amplification.
