This is a working lathe . I have listed it with all the stuff that you need to start turning out parts. This would be a great lathe to restore although it works just fine the way it sits.

Up for sale are 2 USED collars part number 9-33? and 9-78, which I purchased on Ebay thinking they were for an Atlas metal lathe with back gears. Clausing thinks they maybe for an older 9 inch metal lathe without back gears and the drawing they sent me tends to indicate these 2 collars COULD be 9-78 spindle gear spacer and 9-33 head spindle collar.

Up for grabs is a 1938 South Bend lathe, model 415 9C, large 200 graduation dial on crossfeed, Updated headstock, 4Ft Bed length 9In of swing, Original 4-jaw South Bend chuck, No broken gears that I can see, bull gear, back gear look good, no broken teeth, also no broken teeth I can see on the end gears. Spindle spins freely, motor works, the bed is surprisingly in great shape to be that old. There is no visual wear groove in the bed.

Up for auction is a 9" South Bend metal lathe that is in great condition but needs a new motor. The one on it is too low of a horsepower (it's 1/8 hp) and is nearly burned out. It can't turn the lathe and starts smoking.

Up for sale is the USED rear spindle gear part number 9-100-32 which is off of the 9 inch lathe spindle which I purchased on Ebay thinking the parts were for an Atlas metal lathe with back gears. Clausing thinks it maybe for an older 9 inch metal lathe without back gears ,however I recognize this gear as being used on both my 10 f metal lathe and 12 inch commercial Atlas lathe. This gear is used but has no cracked or missing teeth and should be fully functional.
