Geiger counter has: - ATmega328 microprocessor - Geiger–Muller tube SBM20 (beta and gamma) - LSC screen 4x20 - Logging shield that logs data to micro SD card and a real time clock (DS1307) and backup battery - Micro SD card 4 Gb - IR receiver for Sony or Philips remote controller (note: IR TV remote is not a part of the listing) - DHT22 sensor that measures temperature and humidity - 4 NiMH rechargeable batteries (Battery charger not included) - USB connector for programming - A set of 4 dip switches LCD display shows: - The level of radiation (CPM and USV). CPM and dose values based on moving average for the last 30 seconds. Updated every 5 seconds. - Temperature of the air (°C) - The humidity of air (%) - Voltage Batteries - Date and time - A settable threshold alarm to alert for high CPM levels - Levels of radiation for 1 minute and 10 minutes The software is based on the Arduino. This is a development environment for microprocessors. The Arduino environment makes it easy to program the Atmega328 (Arduino UNO) microprocessor that is on the Geiger board. It includes an "IDE" that lets you write, compile and upload your code to the chip from your computer. Arduino IDE version 1.0.x and above With a Geiger counter come CD with sketch that you can modify with Arduino IDE version 1.0.x and above, according to your wishes and put it on the device.
