* * * SPECIAL * * * BUY 4 KITS, GET ONE KIT FREE * * * Super nice Hamamatsu R10133 PMT Photomultiplier KIT. This listing is for a PMT Kit with the original Hamamatsu Voltage divider network already removed (so you do not need to do any desoldering). It comes with all the electronics, connector, wire leads, BNC connector and my fully illustrated instructions for adding a voltage divider network for more common use. Once modified and combined with a scintillator, these PMTs make an excellent detector for use with Ludlum meters, Gamma Spectacular HV Bias Drivers, and Theremino PMT adapter. These work great with plastic scintillators, but they are high resolution PMTs, so combining with a spectrometry quality scintillator crystal will provide a great detector for gamma spectrometry use.  Last three pictures show the R10133 attached to an older Harshaw NaI crystal and analysis by Theremino MCA Program. Pictures show clearly defined peaks of Cs137, Am241, and Co60. Last picture shows all three together. The computer, survey meter, NaI crystal, DVM, cables, and 1000/1 adapter box are not included in this listing, only shown to demonstrate operation of the PMT. The 1000/1 adapter box is available in another one of my listings. These tubes are very similar to the high performance Hamamatsu R6233 I sell, but in a more compact low-profile format. They do require slightly more HV voltage than the R6233, but work very well at a range of voltages between 800 and 1400 volts. Ships with the Hamamatsu Data Sheet AND fully illustrated instructions and parts for modifying the voltage divider. In other listings, I sell these PMTs unmodified with their original Hamamatsu divider network. I also offer this PMT fully wired and tested for immediate use in your own custom build scintillator detector (please see my other listings, or ask me about them if you don't see them). The R10133 is a 3 inch (76mm) diameter, Head-on type, Bialkali photocathode. The maximum spectral response is 300 to 650 nm, peaking near 450nm, originally designed for NaI or plastic scintillator based gamma cameras. Once modified, these PMTs are great for Scintillation Counting and an excellent choice for Gamma Spectrometry, with a low profile and High PHR. They are driven easily by voltages starting around 800 volts, and normal operating voltage is 850 to 1100 volts (Maximum recommended 1500 volts).    These are NOT the typical 20 to even 50 year old tubes often found on eBay (usually sold with no guarantee of operation, from sellers who would not know how to test one in the first place). This listing is for a modern high performance high quality PMT, one that normally sells for hundreds of dollars when purchased new. Each tube leaves my lab tested and guaranteed to satisfy. If you need more than the quantity eBay says is available, contact me for a special listing and price.  I ship very fast, same day if early enough, next day otherwise (except Holidays and Weekends). This item will be packed safe and secure. Only shipped to a PayPal Confirmed Address. Thanks for looking. Please don't forget to check my feedback and see my other items.
