Buy 4 PMT KITS and get 1 FREE Hamamatsu R9420 KIT WITH MACHINED BNC END CAP - Photomultiplier Tube and electronics KIT to install yourself a new 80 MegOhm Voltage Divider and wire Leads. Once completed, this PMT setup works well with many battery operated survey meters and USB or battery powered High Voltage Bias Power Supplies. These PMTs work well with Ludlum meters, Gamma Spectacular HV Bias Drivers, and Theremino PMT adapter. Ships with the Hamamatsu Data Sheet and instructions for installing the voltage divider. This kit has been desoldered of all the original electronics, and the original circuit board resoldered in place, leaving the PMT leads extended to provide for soldering of the new components. These PMTs are great for Scintillation Counting and for Gamma Spectrometry. The last three pictures show gamma spectrum of Cs137, Am241, and Co60. Normal operating voltage is 900 to 1400 volts (Maximum recommended 1500 volts). Each tube leaves my lab tested and guaranteed to satisfy. The R9420 is a 1.5 inch (38mm) diameter, Head-on type, Bialkali photocathode. The maximum spectral response is 300 to 650 nm, peaking near 420nm, great for use with NaI, plastic, or many other scintillators. This listing is for a Hamamatsu R9420 PMT, Voltage Divider, Wire Leads, BNC, MACHINED END CAP, Coupling Grease and INSTRUCTIONS only. You will have to solder the parts in the kit to your PMT in order to make it operate. The Computer, Survey Meter, DVM, Voltage Divider Box, Cables, Check sources, and finished PMT with Scintillator are NOT included in this listing (shown only to demonstrate the PMT).
