 This is a very nice photomultiplier tube that will make a nice scintillation detector for many common Ludlum geiger counters. It needs 660 to 2150V; best at 800v to1800v to work. You can make a voltage divider to use it with most common geiger counters using several 10 meg ohm 1/4W resistors and some ballast capacitors for the last three stages. Google: Paint Can Scintillator to set this tube up as an impressively sensitive yet inexpensive to build probe for most common geiger counters.  It is more sensitive than many thousand plus dollar probes too.  This item is very hard to find.
