Up for sale is my 1997, or 1998 SILVERLINE PRO 8 drum sander. This machine needs a tune-up, however, it does function correctly. Does likely need drum bearings, and set it to your likening. Right now it cuts flat, not left to right, or right to left. The chassis was broken at some point, as the second and fourth pictures shows it.  It does not effect the functionality of the machine. I have repaired a vacuum housing and it works fine. Drum is OK Motor is strong as a V8. This machine is more agile as the Clarke, as the centre of gravity is lower. It is easier to disassemble/carry than the Galaxy as it is not as heavy. More sophisticated than Galaxy. It is heavier than the Hummel, so when you are cutting pre-finished, or old floors, it has more cutting power. Comes with a few sets of USED poly wheels, some V and cog belts, one dust bag and 100 ft non-marking cable. Have the original manual to go also. THIS MACHINE IS NOT NEW, I HAVE DESCRIBED ITS FLAWS THE BEST I CAN. Would you have any questions, ask and I'll do my best to answer them. If you want a new machine, spend the extra money and buy one.
