Up for auction, VINTAGE 40'S ROYAL QUIET DELUXE TYPEWRITER, the typewriter is excellent, everything works as it should, nice and smooth. Also it is cosmetically wonderful with very little wear to show at all. There is a couple tiny nicks and a small business typewriter store sticker on the side, (could be removed if desired).

The typewriter just came out of a Maine estate storage, it hasn't been used in a long time..

Sears carried many brands of typewriters until the 1950s or 1960s, when they starting selling many models of "Tower" then "Sears" re-branded and slightly re-designed Smith Corona models. As with their cameras, eventually they had products made for them by other manufacturers. This 1968 model had pretty much all the features you could find on a portable typewriter.

Beautiful late-'70's Olympia Portable Electric Typewriter from near the end of the typewriter era. Made in Germany. It operates flawlessly, smoothly and is very fast and quiet.

Smith Corona made a zillion different models of small electronic typewriters in the 1980s through early 2000s, using the same basic mechanism and accessories. They had a variety of features, from very basic thru complicated word processing. This one is at the basic end of the scale.

Vintage Weis Oak Index Box This is a vintage (1920's - 30's) Weis file box. It has finger-jointed corners, and measures 8 1/2" long, 5 3/4" wide, and 4 1/2" high. The inside adjuster runs very smoothly to keep the cards in an upright position.
