Designed for the Professional Surveyor, the Leica TCR703 Auto Reflectorless Total Station is ideal for any surveying application. Whether it be the tightest control survey, high volume construction staking or a boundary survey with 3 second angular accuracy and its rugged design the TCR703 is suitable for use in the toughest environments. Leica TCR703 can stand up to any wet weather condition that can occur in the field, giving the benefit of not experiencing down time due to inclement weather. Leica TCR703 Auto offers brilliant features such as automatic target recognition (ATR), reflectorless distance measurement and integrated survey programs. Classic surveying tasks are solved quicker, easier and more comfortably. With Leica ATR (automatic target recognition) feature aim the telescope roughly at the target point, trigger the measurement with a key press ...that’s all. The servo motors will automatically guide the TCR703 and precisely lock on to the prism, no special prisms needed. Plus ATR lets you continue working and even will find your target at dusk and even at night. Precise targeting and data storage are performed automatically by the instrument. When using a single prism, you can measure as far as 12,000 feet at once or reflectorless measurement up to 1500 feet. How to place prisms on roofs, bridges, high walls, tunnel ceilings or in trenches for foundations? With the Leica's reflectorless technology you can forget the question. Just sight the crosshairs on your target and safely measure and store the values and coordinates. With on-board data collection capability, simple operations can be achieved by selecting the necessary functions, such as data collection, layout and memory manager routines from the main menu. A large easy-to-see LCD displays on each side of the instrument means you can shoot reverse angles easily. For enhanced operation in the field, the internal memory stores up to 10,000 points. Data communication to a data collector is possible with the RS232 interface cable. The laser plummet built into the standing axis makes centering and leveling easy. Leveling inaccuracies are automatically corrected by the built in biaxial compensator. Leica TCR703 provides a liquid type dual axis compensator for vertical and horizontal angle compensation, this provides accurate elevation measurements, even if the instrument is not precisely leveled. These features combine to provide ultimate flexibility in many field applications such as Field surveying, City Elevation Work, Forestry Survey, Quarries Survey, Mining, Accident Investigation and so on.
