Whether it be the tightest control survey, high volume construction staking or a boundary survey with 3 second angular accuracy and its rugged design the GTS-802A is suitable for use in the toughest environments. Topcon GTS-802A robotic total station brings surveying to a new level. Just sight the prism, activate the unique Topcon "wide beam" tracking system and the instrument locks on and follows the reflector wherever it goes. System components include the RC-2II FastTrak System, providing fast, simple acquisition of the GTS-802A tracking beam. When job site obstacles disrupt the beam, FastTrak instantly re-acquires lock at the press of a button. This results in reliable prism lock and better performance in machine control and other applications where fast or erratic movements can be expected. The GTS-802A uses a CCD tracking system, which identifies the prism and ensures only the prism can be followed by the instrument. GTS-802A configuration includes all necessary components to complete a one-man robotic surveying system. Long range Satel radios, RC-2 quick lock system, reliable data collector with Carlson robotic software and well thought-out accessories form a surveying package that will increase your productivity while reducing labor costs. GTS-802A provides a large capacity internal memory, 2MB gives a capacity for the storage of measurement data of up to 30,000 points. Also provided is a 2MB program memory for large application programs. Topcon GTS-802A allows you measure in poor visibility and in total darkness, if necessary. The active search system is superior to the human eye and always finds the reflector. And you could do the job completely alone, if you had to. One person can process as many points in the same time as it takes two people measuring with a conventional total station. And because nobody is needed at the instrument, both you and your assistant can help with the work at the measuring point.
