This is a +/-15V bipolar power supply "kit" suitable for audio applications including the Precision MS Matrix, Stereo Width Controller, Dual Class-A Headphone Amplifier or any application where low-noise bipolar supplies are needed. The measured noise performance of this supply is far better than the specifications suggest with typical ripple <10mV within the audio band. It has been tested with both the Precision MS Matrix and Dual-Class A Headphone Amplifier. The "kit" consists of a Meanwell P25A14E-R1BU enclosed desktop power supply, a 5 pin chassis mount female DIN connector and a 10 Ohm 5W resistor to pre-load the 5V power supply at it's minimum recommended load of 500 mA. (Reduces output ripple when all supplies are lightly loaded and may not be required in all applications.) The 25W supply can provide 5V up to 2.5A, +15V at 0.5A and -15V at 0.3A. These currents are sufficient to run the Precision MS Matrix, Stereo Width Controller and Dual Class-A Headphone Amplifier featured in my other listings. The input to the Meanwell supply is universal spanning 90-254 VAC and 135-370 VDC. For more information see the datasheet pages in the listing photos.
