Metcal (OKI?) DS1 Desoldering Gun With Tip and Base Item Description: This is a used Metcal DS1 desoldering gun (or a Metcal wannabe) with the STDC-105 tip, cables and base included.  This may be an older or newer version or maybe a Chinese imitation. The gun and base don't have the Metcal label anywhere on the unit but it looks just like the Metcal and uses the same tips and filters. The vacuum hose actually has a braided covering to protect the hose from melting and binding. I tested the gun to make sure it heats up but have no practical way to test the vacuum.  What you see in the pictures is what you will receive.
