Microampere (uA) DC Source Why should I use a microampere dc source when testing analogue panel meters? Think about when you are given a hard to find and sensitive analogue panel meter of unknown condition, how you can test it safely (coil current and resistance) without frying the delicate meter movement?  If you are going to use a DMM or a traditional VOM to do the job, STOP and think again because these instruments can burn the moving coil like blowing a fuse, the damage can be costly.  This gadget simplifies your work, for fast, accurate and consistent test results while protecting your delicate analogue panel meter. Specifications: = uA output range:13 – 1400uA = Battery Test switch = Operates on a 9volt battery (not included to avoid possible shipping restrictions)   You may want to get the Millivolt (mV) DC Source to benefit from combined shipping, please refer to separate listing on eBay. Picture shows the Microampere (uA) DC Source in operation, please note that the VOM and the apm under test are not included in this auction.
