This is morse taper 4 adapter for south bend lathes. The odd thing about this is it has a lip inside that doesnt allow anything but a very short morse taper in it. Not sure why it is made this way or who made it. See photos Will only fit certain heavy 10, 13, 14.5 and 16" south bend lathes with the large spindle bores. Will NOT fit 10k, 9 or small bore 1-7/8 heavy 10 or 2-1/4"-6 14.5 or 16. Will need some polishing / cleaning up. I have done no testing on this for runout or anything, sold as-is in that regard. This is the only one i have
