New 48" Thomson 2DB16 'SuperSlide' Linear Ballscrew Actuator (Heavy-Duty) Retail Price = $6,842.00 each *Auction price is for 1 actuator, I have 2 available* *The first unit is New 'Unused Surplus' and the other has been 'Refurbished' to 'New working condition', the 'New' unit will be shipped to the first buyer* These are new / refurbished Thomson 2DB16 'SuperSlide' linear actuators. The 2DB16 is the top of the line actuator from Thomson, that can handle very heavy loads and high speed movement. It has heavy-duty 1" diameter linear rails (fully supported), 3/4" dia. precision ballscrew with 0.50" pitch (2 turn per inch). These actuators are designed to be used with nema34 motors, or nema23 motors. Both of these actuators have motor mounts on either end, with a nema23 motor mount on one end and a nema34 motor mount on the other, so you can use either a nema23 or nema34 motor. The 'New' actuator has a zero-backlash coupler on the nema23 side with a 1/4" dia. bore (for use with a nema23 motor with a 1/4" dia. shaft.). And the 'Refurbished' actuator has a zero-backlash coupler on the nema34 side with a 1/2" bore (see photos). Carriage measures approx. 7-1/2" x 7-1/2". Max travel is approx. 36-1/2". This actuator is very accurate, with a repeatability of +/- 0.0002" It is also very heavy-duty, with a dynamic load capacity of 3,555 lbs Length of actuator (not including motor mounts) is 48" Overall dimensions are 7-1/2"w x 51"l x 3-1/2"h. Weight is 62lbs 4ozs. This would make a very nice X or Y Axis for a CNC router or plasma cutter.
