CSC Building Systems - Flex Panel Series FLEX Panels are unique to the CSC Building Systems NUBUILDINGS Product Line. These panels allow the customer to select the location of the overhead doors in the building, and since the building is provided with a full metal sheeting package, the door openings can either be utilized or not. In addition, each FLEX Overhead Door Panel location includes all the structural components you need to add an overhead door as your needs change. The FLEX Win/Door Panels provide you with walk door and/or window locations as well. These panels can be utilized initially or sheeted over and accessed in the future. A typical FLEX Panel layout and details are included in the construction document package that accompany each model. NUBUILDINGS is designed to be the most complete, ready to use metal building system available today. Unlike conventional metal buildings, it can easily accommodate standard energy efficient insulation, residential doors and windows available at any home center. Since the structure is stud and truss based, as soon as the assembly is completed it is ready for whatever wall and ceiling finish material you select, with no additional expensive framing required. Licensed Engineer’s structural certification of the drawings and design 3. Assembly drawings for the wall panels and trusses 4. NuFrame Galvanized Steel Stud wall framing studs and track including: a. Top and bottom tracks are part-marked, cut to length, and pre-punched for all stud and jam connections. b. Studs part-marked, pre-cut and pre punched for connection to track, blocking, bracing, and framed openings c. Blocking is part-marked, pre-cut and pre-punched for easy assembly between studs. d. Door jams and headers are part-marked, pre-cut and pre-punched e. Window jams, headers, and sills are part-marked, pre-cut and pre-punched f. Diagonal bracing (if required) is part-marked, pre-cut and pre-punched for required wall panels g. The walls are divided into 8’ to 12’ sections, part-marked and packaged individually for assembly and easy handling. h. An assembly diagram for each wall section identifying the location of each part-marked component in the section assembly. i. Top and bottom chords are part-marked, cut to length, coped, notched, and punched for precision, bolted assembly. b. The web members are part-marked, cut to length, coped, notched, and punched for precession assembly. c. Each truss is individually packaged and part-marked. d. An assembly diagram for each truss identifying the location of each par-marked component in the section assembly. e. A: CSC Building Systems provides a complete light gauge steel framing system that includes the wall panels, roof trusses, floor trusses (where applicable), clips, framing angles, and fasteners necessary to erect the light gauge steel frame for the model you select. The picture shown in the brochure is an architects rendering of what the building could look like using certain types of finish materials that are left up to the customers choosing. Q: Can I erect the frame myself? A: Certainly you may erect the frame yourself. Many customers choose to do just that. However, many customers also choose to hire an experienced general contractor or framer to provide this service as well. The choice is up to you. Q: Does it come with assembly instructions? A: Yes. Your purchase of any NUPRODUCT comes complete with the Architectural and Structural plans detailing wall panel locations, truss layouts, and connection details necessary to complete the erection of your light gauge steel frame. Q: Is steel termite proof? A: Yes it is. The IRC has been changed to recognize cold-formed steel framing as a primary form oftermite protection. For structures being erected in areas where the building code is governed by the IRC it is highly probable that you will be able to produce the structure without treating for termites if you are using light gauge cold-formed steel for all of the structural elements in the structure.
