OneAC Line Viewer LV-103, Hard Carry Case, All Cables, Documentation, 120/240VAC 50/60Hz DESCRIPTION: The OneAC Line Viewer is one of a few instruments with isolated outputs that will allow you to safely monitor the AC power line while faithfully reproducing the power line transients on the line, both Common Mode and Normal Mode. This OneAC Line Viewer 103 includes a copy of the original documentation and these original accessories: hard carrying case, 120VAC power cord, two BNC cables). This is serial number 8601-3618, Part Number 004-000. As the photographs show, this instrument works perfectly and it is complete so it can go to work for you as soon as you receive it. As integrated microelectronic circuitry becomes faster, more complex and more compact, it’s vulnerability to power line noise correspondingly increases. So does the need to evaluate the electrical environment comprehensively, accurately, quickly and with minimum special “power” training. When used with an oscilloscope, OneAC Line Viewer is the perfect power quality line viewing tool for field service organizations, plant engineers and facilities personnel. Connecting an oscilloscope to the power line to monitor transients is risky since most oscilloscopes are grounded and it is dangerous to float them. In addition the peak to peak line voltages could blow out their input amplifiers.  Using an oscilloscope the LV-103 lets you safely analyze the AC power line several different ways: The X100 isolated output shows the power line voltage directly. The X10 Normal Mode output allows you to monitor just the normal mode transients on the power line. The X10 Common Mode output shows you just the common mode transients on the power line. Connecting an ordinary step-down transformer to the power line doesn’t work since the limited frequency response of a transformer won’t reproduce the high frequency transients that occur on the power line all the time. The OneAC Line Viewer overcomes this problem with wideband transformers  SPECIFICATIONS: ·         Dynamic Range: Per IEEE 587-1980, Part A Ring Wave up to 6000 ·         Input Voltage: 250 VAC (rms) max. ·         Isolation (power line to BNC): 2000 V ·         Net weight: 1 lbs.
