This tool eliminates the need for a press brake operator bolting on back-stop square edges, or creating angles for parts with tapers, as well as rounded edges. Picture a gusset which is we what we know of as a triangular shape. We have this gusset (triangular shaped part), and we want to put straight bend across one side of that triangle. Do it repeatedly, accurate, and ensure the parts remain consistent to tolerances. To do this the operator would be required to build a bolt on tapered edge. THIS TOOL ELIMINATES THE NEED FOR BOLTING TO THE MACHINE, AND LITERALLY CAN BE SET-UP IN UNDER 60 SECONDS. The machine operator can spend 20 or more minutes creating a bolt on square edge from shop supplies. As a press brake operator sometimes I did 2 times a day !!! I created this squaring arm for my own use. And for years it has been popular with metal fabrication shops. Even though my competition sells these for over 400 a piece right here on EBAY I choose to keep my prices low. Sell what you need, and not entice you with what you don't. The Brock Fab Tool is interchangeable as a left and right hand. So that means your Company may choose to buy 1 or buy more than 1 depending upon how many machines they would need accommodate. Machines used to manufacture parts efficiently where you don't want operators scrambling for nuts and bolts to put something together all because they have 100 parts alike that don't have a square edge. If you time the machine at 12-18 seconds per bend the math on that real world is 20 seconds per bend which is equivalent to 3 bends per minute. A job like this may require 30 or more minutes not factoring in the set-up time for back-stops and depth the machine bends at consistently. I know every minute counts. I also know I was not given 20 minutes to create bolt on squaring arms. Setting the angle for a gusset-like part required fine tuning the bolt to machine type.
