These LONG bars are our finest  press plates yet!  these 20 ton plates are precision laser cut from high strength steel. They support from 20 tons, over a gap of 4.25".  When used in pairs with our X-BARS to spread the load They will support up to 30 tons over a 7.5" bed gap. Our X-BARS, BIG BARS and Press Plates are proudly used around the country by: Farm, Aviation, Auto and Heavy Duty shops, plus Racers, Marinas, Machine Tool, Industrial and Hobbyists of all descriptions.  Most 20 ton shop presses have front to back bed gap of 4.25 inches. These are standalone bars across this span.  The added benefit of these LONG bars is they handily support our X BARS in a variety of arrangements. Sold in Matched Pairs Made in USA as standalone bars for all presses up to 20 Ton with 4.25" bed gap. Always use in pairs. 4" X 12.25" X 5/8" High Strength Prime Steel Will NOT "EXPLODE " Like Cast Notched Plates and bars Ground Edge with Only Slightly radiused and polished edges, reduces "kick out" under load. Only 8.5 Lbs each FREE 2 Day Shipping to 50 States These bars are made from Prime Steel with a yield strength of more than 50,000psi.  Common steel has a yield strength of only 20,000psi.    This 2 bar set is also available with our notched “X BARS" in a 4 piece SYSTEM.
