Selling a Simpson Handiscope Model 466 Portable Oscilloscope. We used this mostly for tuning some of the early CRT monitors. Was last used about 2 years ago when we were trouble shooting a large Variable Output Power Supply. It worked then and if I remember right, helped us find a transformer that was just enough off base to make the whole thing fail. Can not find the manual. Had it, but do not know where it was last put away. Sticker on the back shows last calibrated in 1976. One of our people used it often to trouble shoot problems with computer parts and equipment. But he is not working for us now. Now, no one here knows how to run it. So I will sell it with money back warranty if you find it has problems. Let us know with in 14 days after you receive it. You pay freight to get it back here and I will credit you what you paid for it, and the initial freight out to you. This unit does not have an operator’s manual. An operator’s manual for the model 466 may show up on Ebay. They have in the past. Do not have the leads or probes that came with it. We used homemade leads. Leads attach like speaker wires attach to the old stereo systems. Turn the knob to loosen the nut and it exposes a hole in the stud to put the end of the wire in. Then you tighten the plastic nut back down. The ends of the wire nuts are not banana plug style. Unit was working last time it was used. We did recently power the unit up to take pictures and we can manipulate the wave line. Unit has no defects we are aware of. We only offer and ship quality tested products.
