Here is a new Bell & Gossett 2" suction diffuser. It comes with a strainer screen for starting new systems. If you are installing a hydronic heating or cooling system, process water system, etc, with 2" piping, then you will need this if the circ pump is in a tight space without a long straight length of pipe leading into it.

This is an old strainer for the end of the hose on a boiler feed pump to pump water into a steam engine. It is in excellent original condition and measures about 3 1/2 inches long. It has 1 1/4 inch pipe threads and they are in great shape.
