Note: TDS 644A is basically the faster sampling rate (2GS/s) version of TDS 544A (1GS/s) Passes all self-tests (including Signal Path Compensation, SPC). Comes with these options: Option 13: RS-232/Centronics Hardcopy Interface With this option, Tektronix ships the oscilloscope equipped with a RS-232 and a Centronics interface that can be used to obtain hardcopies of the oscilloscope screen Option 1F: File System (Floppy) With this option, Tektronix ships the digitizing oscilloscope with a floppy disk drive and a variety of features for managing the floppy disk. With the file system you can save and recall setups, waveforms, and hardcopies on a floppy disk. Option 2F: Advanced DSP Math With this option, the oscilloscope can compute and display three advanced math waveforms: integral of a waveform, differential of a waveform, and an FFT (Fast Fourier Transform, Spectrum Analyzer) of a waveform. This has built-in GPIB interface for communication to computer. This unit has a color screen and connects to color monitors through VGA port. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- TDS 400, 500, 600 often have electrolytic capacitors leaked at this age. Regardless of whether they function well and pass the tests, they must be recapped and washed or it's a ticking timebomb. Once you see Acq++ fail, chances are the electrolyte has eaten into the board traces and it's gone for good. All SMD electrolytic capacitors on Acq and main board and washed, recapped and rewashed throughly, You can return in 6 months for ANY REASON as long as you pay for shipping both ways. If it fails with a year of purchase, I can have it repaired or replace it for free and will pay for all associated shipping costs. If I cannot fix it, I'll gladly refund.
