TrueTime Symmetricom XL-DC GPS Clock IRIG-B 5MHz, 1MHz Rackmount • LCD Time/Status Display • IRIG-B, Serial and 1PPS Outputs • 115V or 230V Power Actual item for sale Got a Question?    << Click for an instant answer on Pricing, Payments, Shipping, Warranty, Returns etc. Description A basic antenna is included to get you started and to allow you to test the unit straight out of the box.  For a permanent installation an external antenna is highly recommended (and I have some related hardware also listed).  These units need to see a fairly specific amount of current drawn by the antenna and therefore for optimum compatibility I recommend using a AT575 antenna, which in my testing was able to achieve lock in a few minutes with a full view of the sky.  The included antenna does achieve lock, but it will take longer than a professional grade device. This unit has three frequency outputs 10MHz (upper right BNC), 5MHz (adjacent to the 10MHz) and 1MHz (top middle BNC). The lithium battery to maintain the time under power loss conditions has recently been replaced and passes the internal self-test, but its longevity is not guaranteed. Replacements are about $7. The unit receives time from the GPS constellation as expected and shows accurate time, date and position.
