WE COMBINE SHIPPING DESCRIPTION: This item is being sold AS-IS, no return (unless not as described). Vintage Supreme 89 Deluxe tube tester with paperwork, as shown. AC cord was disintegrating, not safe to plug in to test so we cut off the old cord and considered putting a new one in but then found two wires with connectors that weren't attached to anything (two last photos) and stopped there.
What I have here is an antique Jackson Model 658 tube tester, made for testing old vacuum tubes in old tube radios and tvs. The control panel, knobs, buttons, and guage are all in excellent condition. The exterior case however is very rough and beat up, an eyesore really, as you can see in the pictures.
Vintage SENCORE TC162 Mighty Mite VII tube checker in original box with manuals. Box is rough from storage. Unit itself is very nice, although it is hard to open (latch may need adjustment/lubrication).
Vintage 1948 Hand Carry EMC-Electronic Measuring Corp. Model 200 Tube Tester which measures 12" by 17" by 5" thick. It does have the head set and tube top plug.
This listing is for a Eico 610 Nuvistor Novar Compactron Adapter Tube Tester Modernization Panel. This allows you to Update Older Vacuum Tube Testers. You plug this into the 9 pin miniature socket on older model testers and you can test Compactrons, Novars, Nuvistors and 10 pin tubes that could not be tested on earlier models.
Up for your consideration is a Model Tv-12 Trans Conductance tube tester. The item looks to be in good condition but I have not plugged it in to see if it works. Has an older style plug and not sure if I want to try it out.
The fine item you are considering is an Antique Vintage Sylvania Vacuum Tube Tester Weston Model 678. I have lots of photos below, so be sure to scroll down to the bottom of this page to take a better look. This neat vintage tube tester has a great plaque on the front which reads “Sylvania Tester“, and there‘s also a sheet of old paper tacked on the back which would seem to indicate that it‘s a Weston Model 678.
This was my grandfather's Tube Tester. He kept his equipment in meticulous condition, and it jumps to the correct voltage when I plug it in, so I believe it works. It is in the original wooden case with several extra information tube info sheets.
Precision Apparatus Model 912 Vacuum Tube Tester. This unit is in good working order and comes with a Noval 9 pin socket (early models did not have a 9 pin socket). The photos show the short indicator light as well as the meter functioning properly on a known good tube.
***DESCRIPTION*** Here's a decent Hickok 600A tube tester I have used for several years testing only some simple guitar-amp tubes: 6L6, 12AX7, 12AU7's.... etc. I'm only selling it because I recently bought a calibrated 539C tester.
