This proportional counting tube tube (similar to a Geiger-Mller tube, but designed to operate below the Geiger plateau) does not work. Window does not appear to be damaged; I suspect a leak. Nice for display or for collectors who want to have a piece of Cold War history.  Messelektronik (former East Germany/GDR), VA-Z-520 Sold as is. No return! I also have a number of other defect East-German Geiger-Mller tubes: VA-Z-310 made by Vakutronik. Contact me if you are also interested in one of those.
