This is an exceptional, early pipe vise from Prentiss Vise Co. of Watertown, N.Y. Prentiss was in operation from 1872-1948, in Watertown and Little Falls, N.Y., as well as Meriden, CT.
This is probably the smallest pipe vise made and is in very good condition. I bought it in some parts lots a few years back and never used it. It appears to be used very sparingly.
