This is a Crank Guard OR Oil Splash Guard, Part # K2092 For the 2 1/2 & 3 Hp Waterloo Gasoline Engine Co. OR Waterloo Boy Gas Engines....... The Waterloo Engines & A few Contract Engines Use A fly ball Gov, Right behind the Cylinder. This Is Correct Style For the Pre-John Deere / Waterloo Engines, Once John Deere Bought them Out, they Used A Stamped-Tin Guard That Had A compound curve. This is 13 3/4" long Overall........ 4 3/16" Wide...... It Will Fit Any 2 1/2 & 3 Hp Waterloo Engines With Mounting Bolt Holes are Approx. 4 1/8" apart. Not Correct For the Common Contract Engines Like Big Chief, John Smythe, Wonder, Faultless..... They Are Compound Curved Casting, Which I Am looking for A pattern For........ This Is A brand New Cast Iron Casting Done Professionally In A Foundry, That Is ready To Bolt On & Use, You Can either Rust it up To Look Original Or Paint it to Match Your Restoration. These are the Only Reproduction Guards like this Available, These are Very Well Made & Detailed Guards......
