You are bidding on a very nice, all original Cretors popcorn steam engine. The engine has only one flaw, and that is the base is broke. I'm sure somebody is recasting the bases, as desirable as these engines are. The engine is in incredible totally unmolested condition, even has the original Cretors gauge on it yet, which works perfect. The engine is very unworn, there is no slop in anything, even the brass eccentric is nice and tight. It runs great, and governor works like new. I have been running it around 15psi and it will run as slow as you want to run it or as fast. No matter what speed you are running it, if you put your hand on the flywheel the governor kicks right in, sounds great. Nameplate on it is original and in nice shape, engine number and tag number match, like I said this engine is as popcorn cart fresh, as it gets. No air leaks anywhere. If you collect models or engines in general, this would be a great addition to any collection. If I could afford to keep this one, I would, I doubt I'll ever find another that runs like this one does. If your in to high quality, early stuff, don't pass this one up! I can deliver it for FREE to Portland, IN swap meet and show in 2015. I can also deliver it for free to Coolspring, PA show in June 2015 as well.
