Here is a 6 groove V belt pulley fresh out of the barn. Needs to be sandblasted to clean up the grooves if it's going to be used. The shaft diameter this pulley was made for is 2 3/8" diameter.

Mechanical advantage of Block and tackle system is about saving labor when dragging or hauling.
