I purchased this unit for a 3 phase lathe that I sold just before the unit arrived, so I did not need it, nor did my buyer who has a shop with 3 phase power. I would have returned it to the seller/manufacturer, but let too much time elapse (approximately 8 months since I purchased). I had used a similar circuit with my lathe, home-brewed, and was happy with the performance and never bothered by the motors ability to deliver less than 100% full power when using the device.
