This auction is for one GENERAL PROFESSIONAL RATCHETING TAP WRENCH SET. It is the one in the photos and they look new , no use marks or scratches or other wear. These are selling for $70 or $80.
Barrel Wrench (M1 ONLY) Unlike other wrenches made for torquing Garand barrels, this wrench contacts the flats on the upper, small diameter of the barrel for a solid, non-slip grip. Blocks use 1/2" diameter bolts on 3" centers, which is compatible with many handles already available and may already be in your tool box. The wrench blocks can simply be bolted to the edge of your work bench or any convenient flat bar.
Receiver Wrench (M1) also (*M1A and M14) Unlike the other wrenches made for torquing Garand receivers, this set provides for smooth, uniform contact on top of the receiver ring and the bottom of the ring directly opposite. This wrench does not load the receiver rails (legs) as most other wrenches do and so eliminates the chance of deforming either a rail or a functional portion of the ring.
The Master Gun Parts handle fits our Garand Receiver Wrench and Winchester Model 70 Receiver Block. The MGP handle mounts in the parallel position to the wrench block so that the handle points out, instead of down as with many other handles. With the handle level, it is easier to tighten or loosen the receiver by pushing downward on the handle.
Sometimes your "new" Garand comes out of long time dirty storage and the front end needs serious cleaning. The gas cylinder lock band and screw might be more than finger tight and the front sight blade might not be where it belongs. The blade end of this tool fits the lock screw slot(s) better than anything on your Swiss Army knife and the socket end fits both the lock band and the front end of the gas cylinder.
