This 1 ton roller bearing block turns free and shows no sign of ever being used but has oil and dirt from setting in a dry box for years. This block is rated 1 ton for over head use and will handle at least 3 times that. The cable grove is the same size as a AA battery and for using rope you could go about 4 times that or larger.
